Questions we hear on every visit.

If yours isn't here, just ask — we'll answer and add it to the list.

Installation and hardware

Do I need construction work or new cabling?

No. The transmitter is mounted with a magnet or adhesive inside the equipment and runs on its own battery. The receiver only needs an outlet and Wi-Fi or an Ethernet cable.

Does it work in very cold freezers?

Yes. The operating range is −40 °C to +60 °C with ±0.1 °C accuracy. For deep-frozen rooms we use an external probe.

How long does the battery last?

Estimated life is around 5 years at the default 15-minute interval. The platform monitors voltage and warns you well before a replacement is due.

How many sensors does one receiver handle?

A receiver comfortably covers several dozen nearby transmitters. In a store, practical range lands between 30 and 60 metres depending on walls and metal cold rooms.

Data and connectivity

What if the internet goes down?

The receiver keeps logging to an SD card with a real-time clock and syncs automatically when the connection returns. The history has no gaps.

Do the sensors use the store Wi-Fi?

No. Sensors talk to the receiver over ESP-NOW, peer to peer by MAC address, with no SSID and no password. Only the receiver uses the store network for uplink.

How often does data arrive?

The default is every 15 minutes, configurable from 1 to 60 minutes. Critical events such as door openings are sent immediately.

Is the data mine?

Yes. You can export everything in CSV at any time and, on the Network plan, access the database via API.

Compliance and alerts

Is the report valid for health inspections?

Yes. The report includes continuous timestamped logging, configured ranges, thermal excursions and justifications, with an audit trail that cannot be edited retroactively.

Who receives the alert?

You define the chain. If the first owner doesn't acknowledge within the configured window, the alert automatically escalates to the next level.

Can an alarm be muted?

It can, but always with a recorded justification and a muting deadline. Nothing disappears from the history.

AI and integrations

How does failure forecasting work?

Models analyse the vibration signature, compressor current and thermal behaviour over time. When the wear pattern appears, the platform suggests a maintenance window days in advance.

Can I plug it into my own tooling?

Yes. We offer a REST API, event webhooks and an MCP server to connect AI agents directly to your telemetry.

Does the AI decide anything on its own?

No. It prioritises, explains and suggests. The action — powering equipment down, opening a work order, muting an alarm — always belongs to a person, and is recorded.
