1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing the Jambo site or contracting our services, you confirm that you have read and agree to these Terms of Use. If you disagree with any item, do not use the site or the services.
2. What we offer
Jambo provides sensing equipment and a monitoring platform for refrigerated environments, including telemetry collection, alerting, compliance reporting and predictive and artificial intelligence analytics.
3. Plans and contracting
Plans are contracted per monitored asset in monthly cycles and may include equipment on loan. Specific commercial conditions are set out in the proposal signed by the parties, which prevails over this document in case of divergence.
4. Equipment on loan
Equipment delivered on loan remains the property of Jambo. The customer must look after it, not tamper with it or pass it to third parties, and return it when the contract ends. Jambo replaces equipment with manufacturing defects.
5. Customer responsibilities
The customer is responsible for keeping equipment installed per technical guidance, ensuring power and connectivity to the receiver, correctly configuring alarm ranges, designating who receives alerts and keeping access credentials confidential.
6. Acceptable use
You may not use the platform for unlawful purposes, try to access other customers' areas or data, reverse engineer the software or firmware, or overload the infrastructure in a way that harms other users.
7. Limitation of liability
The platform is a decision-support tool. Jambo does not replace the customer's internal quality control procedures and assumes no responsibility for losses arising from third-party infrastructure failures, equipment misuse or alarms disabled by the customer.
8. Intellectual property
Software, firmware, documentation, trademarks and hardware designs are owned by Jambo. The contract grants a right of use, not of ownership. Data generated by the customer's operation remains the customer's.
9. Privacy and data
The processing of personal data follows our Privacy Policy and Brazil's General Data Protection Law (Law No. 13,709/2018).
10. Term and termination
The contract runs for an indefinite term and may be ended by either party with 30 days' notice. After termination, the customer has 90 days to export historical data.
11. Changes
We may update these terms to reflect legal or service changes. The current version is always published on this page with its last-updated date. Material changes will be communicated to customers.
12. Jurisdiction and contact
The courts of Recife, Pernambuco, Brazil are elected to settle any disputes. Questions about these terms can be sent to jambotecnologiabrasil@gmail.com.
