1. Who we are
Jambo is the controller of the personal data processed on this site and on the monitoring platform. The data protection officer (DPO) can be reached at jambotecnologiabrasil@gmail.com.
2. Data we collect
We collect contact data voluntarily provided in forms (name, email, phone, company and sector), browsing data needed for the site to work and, on the platform, usage data and telemetry from monitored equipment.
3. Equipment telemetry
Temperature, humidity, door, vibration and electrical readings relate to equipment, not to people. When an event is tied to a user, such as acknowledging an alarm, we record identity and timestamp for audit trail purposes.
4. Purposes and legal bases
We process data to perform the contract, comply with legal and regulatory obligations, pursue our legitimate interest in improving our products and, where applicable, with the data subject's consent, which can be withdrawn at any time.
5. Cookies
We use essential cookies, which store your language preference and your cookie choice and do not require consent. Audience-measurement cookies are only switched on if you click “Accept all”. We do not use behavioural advertising cookies. You can change your choice at any time under “Cookie preferences” in the footer.
6. Sharing
We do not sell personal data. We share information only with the infrastructure and communication providers needed to deliver the service, always under confidentiality agreements, and with authorities where legally required.
7. International transfers
Some providers may store data outside Brazil. In those cases we apply the safeguards the LGPD provides for international data transfers.
8. Retention
Telemetry data is retained for the contracted period, with a minimum of 12 months for sanitary compliance. Contact data is kept for the duration of the commercial relationship or until you ask for deletion, subject to legal retention periods.
9. Security
We use encrypted transport (TLS), per-device authentication, permission-based access control and an audit trail. No system is fully immune to incidents; in the event of a significant incident we will notify data subjects and the ANPD as the law requires.
10. Data subject rights
You may request confirmation of processing, access, correction, anonymisation, portability, deletion, information on sharing and review of automated decisions, and withdraw consent, by writing to jambotecnologiabrasil@gmail.com. You may also lodge a complaint with Brazil's National Data Protection Authority (ANPD).
11. Children and teenagers
The site and the platform are aimed at businesses and professionals. We do not knowingly collect data from anyone under 18.
12. Changes
We may update this policy. The current version is always on this page with its last-updated date.
